Dr. Oppong’s research focuses on GIS analysis of disease and health services including simulating geographic patterns of communicable disease spread. Previous research topics include HIV/AIDS in Africa and Texas, Buruli Ulcer in Ghana and Tuberculosis in Tarrant County.
